I'm in the market for a new coat and I'm pretty sure I've decided at least on the cut of the jacket. My problem now becomes Belstaff or Barbour? Any opinions based on experiences?

I would go with the Barbour in olive. Belstaff's have too much branding and snaps that stand out and I think the fabric looks kind of tacky. The same can be said about the rest of the Barbour jackets as well.
Hear ya on that Nic. The brown Belstaff is kind of eye catching though and I feel like I can always remove the patches and what not. Something about the belted coat...
Your last Belstaff image is most impressive to me. I like my Barbour, but having seen so much of the Belstaff at J.Crew has really drawn me to them.
